Have you have envisioned marrying your one true love in a beautiful North Carolina mountain valley with green grass under your feet beside a clear running river?
Is your dream wedding in an intimate, romantic outdoor country setting encircled by the Blue Ridge listening to water flowing over ancient stones? Will exchanging your vows in a natural, picturesque surrounding be one of the most treasured events of your life, moments you desire sharing with those most dear to you? If these are your desires for your special day then the Baird House may be the ideal location for your celebration.

 We have hosted weddings as small as 4 in attendance and as many as 125 but we have decided  to specialize in weddings with a maximum of 50 in attendance. Since most weddings are held on weekends we require that all 7 guestrooms be reserved on Friday & Saturday night ( $2,306 based on room double occupancy ) &  that the wedding party provide a portable toilet or 2 ( our septic system is designed for 15 – 20 people ). Weddings with more than 20 in attendance are allowed only during the months of May, June, July, August and September. Our grounds can be used for outdoor rehearsal dinners & celebratory gatherings after the wedding ceremony for an additional fee  based upon the number in attendance. We can provide names of Officiants, florists, caterers, musicians and others who can make your event more special.
