A “new” restaurant we highly recommend

Another restaurant to add to our “recommend list” is Zuzda’s in Banner Elk.Serving food tapas style we enjoyed Saffron Paella( Chicken, Seafood, Chorizo),Coquille St. Jacques (Scallops in Cheese Sauce),Baked Stuffed “Jumbo” …Shrimp (Spinach, Crabmeat, Artichokes),Blackened Halibut,Fried Oysters (Cornmeal Batter, Remoulade Sauce), Lamb Lollipops(Dijonnaise, garlic, spinach)& for dessert Fried Xango Cheese Cake and finally Pistachio Gelato. The service and ambiance were excellent. A 25 minute drive from the inn. www.zuzda.com.
