The folks from Hands on Missions
When Peggy & George first stayed with us we thought, “those are some super folks”…we shared similar thoughts about life in general, national & world news, politics, faith, etc. Back in January the phone rang, it was Peggy calling wanting to have a group from her church stay at the Baird House the first weekend in May so she, George and her group reserved all our rooms for Friday & Saturday night. They had the place all to themselves for fellowship, a lot of fun, some Bible studies, singing, sitting on the porches, walking along the river and enjoying a “few” of Deede’s homemade chocolate chip pecan cookies from the bottomless cookiejar ( they almost found the bottom ). These folks are part of Hands on Missions,Inc . I hope you’ll check out what these joyful people are doing around the world. It was a great pleasure for Deede & I to serve them and make new friends.
